Meeting agendas were posted at the town's three posting boxes by Clerk A.R.Bubolz on August 6, 2009.

The meeting was called to order by Ann Hogan, Town Chairperson at 7:00 p.m. on August 11, 2009 at the Town Hall/Fire Station located at 15471 State Highway 32.

Board members present were Chairperson Hogan, Supervisor Trosch , Supervisor Booth, Clerk Bubolz and Treasurer Smith. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. There were approximately 27 townspeople present.

The chairperson asked if the Open Meeting Law had been complied with. The Clerk so certified.

MINUTES
Copies of the minutes of the July 14, 2009 Board Meeting had been given to Board members. A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Trosch “ to accept the Board Minutes.” Motion carried.

REPORTS

FINANCIAL REPORT
Treasurer Smith read the July Financial Report. Ending balance in town regular accounts as of July 31, 2009 is $448,758.42. Supervisor Booth made a motion “to approve Financial Report”. Trosch seconded. Motion carried.

BILLS AND VOUCHERS
Approval of checks #10280 to 10324 in General Account. Motion “to pay the bills as presented” made by Trosch and seconded by Booth. Motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS

ROAD REPORT

1)	Grass cutting about done-Blacktopping to start 8/12/09-Chipsealing next week.

FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
Riverview Fire Department: No fires-Corn Roast 9/5/2009.
Crooked Lake by Wally Remic. One call-Garage – Department Breakfast 9/5/2009.

AMBULANCE REPORT by Judy Wanner and Supervisor Booth.
Next Meeting is August 18, 2009.

LAND USE REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
Planning Commission formulated a list for possible future grants. Discussed Building Inspection Deposit Program. An ATV Club is being formed in Doty and Riverview.

CEMETERY REPORT by Dick Booth.
Road in new portion will be Double chipped Sealed.

ANIMAL CONTROL REPORT by Mike Rzepka.
One call last month. Continuing education is still a problem.

RECYCLING REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
No problems.

WISCONSIN TOWNS REPORT by Ann Hogan.
No Report.

LAKE ASSOCIATION REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
Discussed Weed Cutting for 2009. Association is relying on treatment for 2009.

NINE TOWN MEETING by Ann Hogan.
Discussed recycling of mercury products, other problems and discussed and set goals.

NEW BUSINESS

a.	Gypsy Moth problem was discussed. Jerry Yaedke will talk to Bob Skalitsky of Oconto County to get additional information and will work with Mary Lintner to pinpoint the areas of greatest concern and get back to the Clerk. Looking to apply for a grant from DNR and with some matching funds from the Town..
b.	Alice Lane proposed assessor plat was discussed. A motion was made by Trosch and seconded by Booth “to table subject unless a petition is received from all landowners involved.” Motion carried.

CITIZEN INPUT
Menards in Antigo accepts some Florescent Bulbs.

ADJOURNMENT
“Motion to adjourn” made by Trosch, seconded by Booth. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m. and the next meeting is scheduled for September 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.at the Riverview Town Hall/Fire Station at 15471 Highway 32.
