Notices for this meeting were posted at the town's three posting boxes by Clerk A.R.Bubolz on May 7, 2009.

The meeting was called to order by Ann Hogan, Town Chairperson at 7:00 p.m. on May 12, 2009 at the Town Hall/Fire Station located at 15471 State Highway 32.

Board members present were Chairperson Hogan, Supervisor Trosch , Supervisor Booth, Clerk Bubolz and Treasurer Smith. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. There were approximately 12 townspeople present.

The chairperson asked if the Open Meeting Law had been complied with. The Clerk so certified.

MINUTES
Copies of the minutes of the April 14, 2009 Board Meeting had been given to Board members. A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Trosch “to accept the Board Minutes.” The minutes of Special Meetings of April 24, 28 and May 7, 2009 were read by the Clerk. A motion was made by Trosch and seconded by Booth “ to accept the Special Meeting Minutes.” Motion carried.

REPORTS

FINANCIAL REPORT
Treasurer Smith read the April Financial Report. Ending balance in town regular accounts as of April 30, 2009 is $446,024.47. Supervisor Booth made a motion “to approve Financial Report”. Trosch seconded. Motion carried.

BILLS AND VOUCHERS
Approval of checks #10143 to 10189 in General Account. Motion “to pay the bills as presented” made by Trosch and seconded by Booth. Motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS

1)	Web site is progressing and training will take place Tuesday May 19, 2009.
2)	Discussed communication from Mountain Fire Department Auxiliary for donation to July 4th celebration. Motion was made by Trosch and seconded by Booth “to donate $200.00 for Fireworks Display”. Motion carried.

ROAD REPORT

1)	Roads are being graded and patched. Trees should be cleaned out of ROW before mowing.

FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
Riverview Fire Department: No report.
Crooked Lake by Wally Remic. One grass fire.

AMBULANCE REPORT by Judy Wanner and Supervisor Booth.
o report. Next meeting 5/20/2009.

LAND USE REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
Two Planning Commission members term are completed. Lakewood Zoo has not submitted the quarterly report on number and kind of animals in his possession to Humane Office and Town. Clerk will notify Mr. Casey to comply. Next meeting of Planning Commission on May 26, 2009 at 6:00 will include Public Input for Opening Island Lake Road from Snowmobile Trail East to State Hwy 32.

CEMETERY REPORT by Dick Booth.
Working on Road in New Cemetery Plat. The Commission requested Town of Riverview Board agree to amend Regulation #10. A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Trosch “to amend Regulation #10 to allow upright monuments.” Motion carried.

ANIMAL CONTROL REPORT by Mike Rzepka.
One call last month.

RECYCLING REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
As of Memorial Day weekend the new hours are 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. Rolloffs will be available for Memorial Weekend.

WISCONSIN TOWNS REPORT by Ann Hogan.
Reported that the County has a Code Red program that enables the county to call 1000 numbers per minute to notify people of an emergency. Next Meeting is Oct 27, 2009 at Hayes.

LAKE ASSOCIATION REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
Discussed MilFoil Program and various other problems.

NINE TOWN MEETING by Ann Hogan.
Meeting was held at Doty and ATV routes were discussed.

OLD BUSINESS

a.	Opening Mountain Lakes and Booth Lane to ATVs will be discussed after Planning Commission meeting on Island Lake Road.
b.	Deadline for Lighted Tree Contest is May 21, 2009.

NEW BUSINESS

a.

Citizen committee for Tornado Relief Fund recommends an Emergency Fund be set up at a Local Bank to be used for various emergencies for Town of Riverview residents. A motion was made by Harley and seconded by Booth “to create a Emergency Fund at a local bank with excess funds from Tornado Relief Fund to be used for emergencies with criteria to be set up by Citizen Committee based on letter received from Law office of Aaron Krzewinski.” Motion carried.

b.

A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Hogan “to approve application by Crooked Lake Fire Department for picnic license for May 24, 2009.” Motion carried with Trosch abstaining.

CITIZEN INPUT
Various ATV problems were discussed.

ADJOURNMENT
“Motion to adjourn” made by Trosch, seconded by Booth. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 8:08 p.m. and the next meeting is scheduled for June 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.at the Riverview Town Hall/Fire Station at 15471 Highway 32.
