Notices for this meeting were posted at the town's three posting
boxes by Clerk A.R.Bubolz on January 8, 2009.
The meeting was called to order by Ann Hogan, Town Chairperson
at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2009 at the Town Hall/Fire Station
located at 15471 State Highway 32.
Board members present were Chairperson Hogan, Supervisor Trosch
, Supervisor Booth, Clerk Bubolz and Treasurer Smith. All stood
for the Pledge of Allegiance. There were approximately 14 townspeople
present.
The chairperson asked if the Open Meeting Law had been complied
with. The Clerk so certified.
NOTE:
The Board meet with the Riverview Volunteer Fire Department prior
to the Board meeting at 6:00p.m. Present were three Board Members,
Clerk, Fire Chief Siefert and Assistant Chief Schrank. Current
concerns of the fire department were discussed.
MINUTES
Copies of the minutes of the December 9, 2008 Board Meeting and
Special Meeting of December 17, 2008 had been given to Board
members. A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Trosch “to
accept the Board and Special meeting Minutes.” Motion carried.
REPORTS
FINANCIAL REPORT
Treasurer Smith read the December Financial Report. Ending balance
in town regular accounts as of December 31, 2008 is $1,576,271.20.
Supervisor Trosch made a motion “to approve Financial Report”.
Booth seconded. Motion carried.
BILLS AND VOUCHERS
Approval of checks #9913 to 9972 in General Account. Motion “to
pay the bills as presented” made by Booth and seconded by
Trosch. Motion carried.

ROAD REPORT

All roads are in good weather driving condition. Gate for Salt
Shed side will be discussed this summer. |
FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
Riverview Fire Department: Two fire calls last month.
Crooked Lake by Wally Remic. One fire call during last month.
AMBULANCE REPORT by Judy Wanner and Supervisor
Booth.
Next meeting is January 21, 2009.
LAND USE REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
No meeting in December 2008.
CEMETERY REPORT by Dick Booth.
No meeting.
ANIMAL CONTROL REPORT by Mike Rzepka.
No calls last month.
RECYCLING REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
Electronics recycling was discussed. A motion was made by Booth
and seconded by Trosch “to charge $10.00 for TVs less than
32 inches and $20.00 for TVs over 32 inches, $10.00 for PC Monitors
and 25 cents per pound for other Electronic items.” Motion
carried. This is the same as the County is charging the Town
per recycling newsletter mailed to each property owner by Oconto
County. Chairperson will write a letter to Pat Virtures requesting
more information on recycling.
WISCONSIN TOWNS REPORT by Ann Hogan.
Clerk will mail registration for Board Members attending meeting
on March 27, 2009 at Indian Springs.
LAKE ASSOCIATION REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
No meeting.
NINE TOWN MEETING by Ann Hogan.
Next meeting is March at Townsend

Economic Stimulus Package was discussed. Board submitted development
of Municipal Park and development of ATV Park. |

Randy Phillips was not present and complaint was tabled. |

A motion was made by Trosch and seconded by Booth “to approve
operators license for James Zittlow”. Motion carried. |

A motion was made by Trosch and seconded by Booth “to approve
a Picnic License for Crooked Lake/Mountain Lions Club for March
21, 2009”. Motion carried. |

Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 7:43 p.m. and the next
meeting is scheduled for February 10, 2009 at 7:00p.m.at the
Riverview Town Hall/Fire Station at 15471 Highway 32.
