Notices for this meeting were posted at the town's three posting
boxes by Clerk A.R.Bubolz on December 4, 2008.
The meeting was called to order by Ann Hogan, Town Chairperson
at 7:00 p.m. on December 9, 2008 at the Town Hall/Fire Station
located at 15471 State Highway 32.
Board members present were Chairperson Hogan, Supervisor Trosch
, Supervisor Booth, Clerk Bubolz and Treasurer Smith. All stood
for the Pledge of Allegiance. There were approximately 9 townspeople
present.
The chairperson asked if the Open Meeting Law had been complied
with. The Clerk so certified.
MINUTES
Copies of the minutes of the November 11, 2008 Board Meeting
had been given to Board members. A motion was made by Trosch
and seconded by Booth “to accept the Board Minutes.”
Motion carried.
REPORTS
FINANCIAL REPORT
Treasurer Smith read the November Financial Report. Ending balance
in town regular accounts as of November 30, 2008 is $302,499.51.
Supervisor Booth made a motion “to approve Financial Report”.
Trosch seconded. Motion carried.
BILLS AND VOUCHERS
Approval of checks #9843 to 9912 in General Account. Motion “to
pay the bills as presented” made by Booth and seconded by
Trosch. Motion carried.

Letter from Goodwill Industries was discussed pertaining to closing
some of their donated items sites in Oconto County. The County
is working on a new agreement. |
ROAD REPORT
1). All roads are in good weather driving condition.
FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
Riverview Fire Department: No fires last month. Department is
flooding ice skating rink. The Department received 14 Air Packs
and 16 Extra Bottles from Wrightstown Fire Department. Department
appreciated the equipment and accepted equipment as is. The newsletter
stated the Corn Roast will be held in August 2009-Correct date
is September 5, 2009
Crooked Lake by Wally Remic. No fires during last month.
AMBULANCE REPORT by Judy Wanner and Supervisor
Booth.
Next meeting is January 17, 2009.
LAND USE REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
No meeting in November 2008.
CEMETERY REPORT by Dick Booth.
New batteries for Solar Lite have been ordered.
ANIMAL CONTROL REPORT by Mike Rzepka.
Two calls last month.
RECYCLING REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
No report.
WISCONSIN TOWNS REPORT by Ann Hogan.
Hogan and Trosch attended Workshop on Alternate Energy Savings
for homes and business at Indian Springs.
LAKE ASSOCIATION REPORT by Harlan Trosch.
No meeting.
NINE TOWN MEETING by Ann Hogan.

OLD BUSINESS
a. Twelve trees have been reserved for the Adopt-A-Tree Program.
NEW BUSINESS

Donnick Lane was discussed. Board agreed to keep Donnick Lane
as a Town Road and the County will be addressing the Physical
Address Numbers issue. |

Town has been vandalized at the tree/flag pole area a couple
of times. Everybody is asked to pay attention to suspicious activities. |

A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Trosch “to approve
Ordinance #47-2008, Snowmobile Route-Booth Lane”. Motion
carried and clerk will publish December 16, 2008. |

d. |
The Town’s current unexpended balances were discussed. A
motion was made by Trosch and seconded by Booth “to designate
balances as of December 31, 2008”. Motion carried. |

e. |
A motion was made by Booth and seconded by Trosch “to
approve excess expenses in the Public Safety, Road Maintenance
and Building Loan Accounts”. Motion carried. |

f. |
The Riverview Christmas celebration will be held December 13,
2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. |
CITIZEN INPUT
John Deere Lawn Tractor was discussed-Suggestion was made to
purchase a snowblower for plowing overhead doors. Chairperson
will call Gendron of Coleman.

“Motion to adjourn” made by Booth, seconded by Trosch.
Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 7:53 p.m. and the next
meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2009 at 7:00p.m.at the Riverview
Town Hall/Fire Station at 15471 Highway 32.
