Notices for this meeting were posted at the Town’s three posting sites.

Meeting was called to order by Chairman MacIntosh at 6:00 pm. Commissioners present were Bob MacIntosh, Harley Trosch, Gail Davis, Elsie Jensen. (Erv Limberg- absent)

Action Taken:
Approval of Minutes from the June 24, 2008 meeting with one correction: The county-owned property is on Torsci Ln. not Loon Rapids road. Motion made by Davis, seconded by Trosch and passed unanimously.

Discussion:
Commissioners will approach Mountain representatives to find out the names of the new members of the Mountain Planning Commission to discuss collaboration on the rustic road designation as well as a biking trail system. Discussion was held on ATV routes as well.

Other Business:
Planning Commission would like to be involved in a program to “adopt a tree” at the Town Hall site to promote community involvement. Individuals or groups would be able to adopt a tree to decorate for the Christmas season. This would be a new venture for the town. More information needs to be obtained to proceed. The program will be discussed at future meetings.
